One of three gateway sculptures attached to street lamps aimed at wayfinding into the Quarter and drawing attention to the history of jewellery and the importance of contemporary design. Symbolises "The Hand That Moulds the Raw Material into a Jewel."

Large heart-shaped padlock with open clasp and chain, lock and 4x screw heads are mesh through which lights can be seen. Lights can also be seen at the edges of the "heart" of the padlock. The lock marks the start of the Charm Bracelet Pavement Trail.
